About Alan
Alan Easter is originally from Bedford, PA. The passion of playing the game of golf, influenced by the vicariousness of his father, became the foundation of a career decision to enter the field of Turfgrass Management.
The desire to grow turf and having the satisfaction of competing on the product produced proved to be personally and professionally rewarding.
Alan’s career consists of 34 years in Leadership roles, 27 as a Golf Course Superintendent. Spanning the course of his career he has been privileged to have the responsibility of maintaining the highest standards of operation on Private Clubs in Long Island, NY and in Western Pennsylvania.
He has participated in all facets from planning, instituting and completing a “grow in” to renovations of irrigation and construction of every aspect. He has also hosted every local Western Pennsylvania Golf Association competition, Multiple Pennsylvania Golf Association championships and four PGA Tour events.
Alan also has volunteered at numerous USGA and PGA Tournaments including the Walker and Presidents Cup.
Starting in 2018, Alan became the National CoreMax48 Core Collection Unit Sales and Technical advisor and has now expanded into various consulting roles.
